Ingredients:

Yield: 2 treats

1 cup Krucial Care
3 Tbsp Oat flakes
1 apple, grated
1 carrot, grated
2 Tbsp Water

Materials:

1 baking tray
1 large bowl
2 cookie cutters (we will be using a circle cookie cutter for this recipe)
1 spoon
1 toothpick
2 pieces of string (optional)

Method:

  1. Preheat your oven to 180°C / Gas Mark 4
  2. Measure out 1 cup of Krucial Care and place it in a large mixing bowl. As an alternative, you can replace this ingredient with grounded guinea pig pellets or pieces of hay at the bottom of your piggie’s hay bag.

Note: If you do not have access to a blender to crush up your alternative choice of pellets, you can always soften them up by soaking them in water.
  3. Grate 1 whole apple and 1 whole carrot and place it into the large mixing bowl.
