Hinged doors, lids and gates on C&C Cages : how does it work?
Not all C&C cages come with doors, but ours do! C and C door-grids are very handy when it comes to allowing your pets to roam free or when it's time to clean the pen. They can be placed to create a lid, a single door or a double gate.

Find below how to assemble your lid for each size of C&C cage.
Then, you just need to insert the hinges of the lid in the connectors of your C&C cage. To prevent connectors breakage, it is recommended to not open the lid more than 180° and to put it against a wall.
For the very large C and C guinea pig cages, such as 5x2 and 6x2, the lid is not meant to be bigger than 4x2. This is to keep enough rigidity.
Likewise for large enclosures such as 4x4 and 3x3, the lid dimensions should not exceed 4x3 grids.
